Alleyways

It was a warm afternoon, and the alleyway was bustling with a few people. Noises from the city could be heard, the large gears turning to power the electricity and other sources. Toxin was relaxing herself in the nook of two buildings, hiding herself from sigh. Luckily the shadows were dark enough to conceal her glowing fur and eyes, as well as her marks. She had her eyes half closed and was scanning over the people that were walking around, smuggling, or hiding from the police in her high perch. This was her usual spot. She would recline in the small nook and rest peacefully, watching for anyone who might be part of the governments scheme. Sometimes she would, and swiftly kill them off or drop them into Darkstone. Other times she would save simple citizens from being kidnapped to become what she was created. She wouldn't stop in to save petty crimes though. They weren't her problem and served her no reward in the long run. She sighed to herself as her slitted pupils dilated and continued to watched the citizens like a hawk to prey.

Alleyway's were perfect spots to find unused parts and that's were Cobalt slipped off to. Of course Cobalt wasn't one for dumpster diving, but just maybe sticking a hand in the garbage, but if it came to diving, then Aunt Maddie was going to have a fit with him. Since Cobalt was tall, he didn't have to stand on his tippy toes to look inside the dumpster. Easily holding up the lid of the dumpster, Cobalt dug his hand into the gross trash. Unable to see anything since the place was a bit dark, Cobalt reached in his pocket and pulled out a lash light; sticking it in his mouth, shining it on the trash. He pulled out a used metal part which he couldn't quite tell what it came from, but he suppose he could use it for something useful. He placed that down on the ground and went back to digging.

Toxin's ears twitched as she was disturbed by an unsettling noise. She heard it before, dumpster diving, and usually cared nothing for it. Most of the time is was people trying to find cheap parts or commoners looking for a good meal. But since there was nothing else giving her amusement, she looked to the noises source. She narrowed her green orbs on the tall man diving into the dumpster. She scuffed to herself as she watched him. She knew right, looking for parts. But he seemed off to her. Not his height, she had seen plenty tall gentlemen. No, it was something else. Something she couldn't place her finger on. But her attention was drawn away by incoming gang members making their was towards the man. Toxin's lips tugged a small smirk. Her ears perked and her tail swung an excited twitch. She leaned up and continued to watch them, her gaze burning with excitement.

Toxin's grinned widen into a large toothy smirk. She watched with enthusiasm. It had been a good while since she had seen a fight break out. This was her guilty pleasure. Watching people suffer and plain violence. Though Toxin never really experienced a loving atmosphere. All she knew was violence and hate. thus bringing this demon like creature out. Toxin chuckled darkly as she watched them and smirked at the comments the tall man made. He sounded just like her. A smartass. Toxin let a content sigh out as she thought about it. Her thoughts were disturbed when the man threw the punch. That got her attention. Her ears perked up and she knelled over the edge of the building. She watched closely and was slightly shocked by the quick reflexes. yes, she'd seen people block punches. But true fighters had the speed and the flexibility. And this guy had that. She then narrowed her eyes darkly noticing something off. This man had a weird feeling to him. After the metal was flung in the air and the man head-butted the scum to the ground, Toxin stood up, and looked to the distance. Police must've heard the racket and were making their way over. Toxin's gleeful grin dropped to a more serious one. She looked back to the group and decided to intervene. Just this once. And with that Toxin turned on her heel, her back facing the group. She then, ever so skillfully, flipped backwards and landed into the alley, her back still facing the crowd.

"Well....well...well. Your causing quiet the ruckus. Attention like this can attract the wrong kind of people."

Toxin stood up and looked over her shoulder with her glowing eyes. Her pupils were slitted and were having a dark sense to them. Her tail flickered with dominance as well as her ears. She then turned on her heel and faced the group. Her markings now proudly shun in the light, her fur also glowing. She had a serious expression, and her whole appearance gave an intimidating feeling off. She placed her hand of her hip and tilted her head. Toxin knew that the citizens of Heath's city as well as Vanguard were told she was a myth. She was dead. Never even existed, giving citizens a peace of mind. This would be amusing to her.

Toxin scuffed and watched the scene take place. She watched closely and guessed she had no need to appear. What a shame. She was about to leave when her ears picked up the noises from the officers. They were closing in and this wasn't going to be good for her. If she was caught, all hell would break loss. And she worked so hard to stay a luff. She snarled with distaste. She then walked towards the man that was making his way towards her. She walked by him and stood above the scruffy man's figure. She then leaned down. She wasn't going to allow this man to live. He'd seen her. he had to die.

"This'll be quick love. Can't have you go around saying that ya seen me."

She then swiftly clutched the man's throat and dug her nails deep inside. Glowing green veins could be seen from her hand that lead through her nails into the man's body. Radioactive chemicals eating him away. He screamed, but was quickly silenced by turning into nothing but ashes in a quick amount of time. She flung herself back up and quickly whipped her hand so it stopped it radioactive pour and the blood would evaporate. Toxin winced, her head thumping. Using her powers came with a toll of aching pains. She then ran towards the boy and clutched his jacket. She ran towards the building and leapt up into the nook she was hiding in. She slammed the boy into the small cranny and moved herself in, watching the police reach the alley. Luckily the shadows were hiding them, giving her the ability to see if they would be able to see if her presence was there. She cursed that the others got away, knowing if they got caught, she might not be undetected for long. She looked to the man.

"Shut up and stay still. Unless you'd like to end up a radioactive ash like our friend."

Her voice was harsh and dominating. She then looked back to the police that were investigating. She knew she should've just walked away. But something told her not to.

Cobalt was rather a bit surprised now as the scruffy man just combusted into ashes. What was this girl? He was completely taken off guard when she grabbed his jacket and pulled him into a hiding place, slamming him against the wall, which to him was completely unnecessary. He raised his eyebrows at her threat and just stayed quiet. Why was this girl helping him anyway? If she left him there, he probably would have made it out or been caught. If the chance was that he would be caught, he would hope that luck was on his side and talk his way out. He was a bit uncomfortable with this girl touching his jacket for she just killed a man by making him radioactive ash. Why was she touching him?! Shouldn't he have been ash already?!

"Sir! Check this out!"

Cobalt's head snapped to the edge of the wall, listening in to the conversation between the police. It would seem that they found the pile of ash of the once gang leader, owner of the near by dumpster. It was rather dumb of this girl to leave a suspicious ash pile in the middle of an alleyway, but he didn't say anything. He didn't want to became ash.

"Its just a pile of ash." one spoke and then mumbled the word, "amateur."

"Search the place!" one demanded.

Cobalt then looked back to the girl with a face that read 'Got any more ideas?'.

Toxin snarled an animal like noise as she watched. It was quiet careless of her, but she was rushed. She let a growl out before glaring to the man. She wasn't going to take her anger out on him, but was more upset with herself. It was time they left before someone got the idea to check there. She thought through how to do this. She could easily get away, with her fox like moves, but with him she'd have more difficulty. Either she kills off these pathetic people and make a bigger scene, or think of some way out. She thought hard on her decisions, laying out each scenario. It was clear to her that they had to leave. There was only one option on how. She walked over to the wall. it was just a solid brick wall, leading to another alley that they could get away through back to her place. She placed her hand on it before it started to be eaten away and leaving a hole large enough for them. She whipped her hand once more, wincing at her head ache. She then grabbed the boy by his jacket and through him through the hole. She leapt through, catching him before her fell and landing the two of them safely into another darken alley. She didn't release him, instead glared darkly towards him. She had no choice but to bring him to her domain. She had to set this boy straight, and here wasn't the place or time for that. So without another word she swiftly tugged him along with her back to her place with no hesitation.

It all happened way to fast for Cobalt, but he didn't complain. The girl had a plan and he followed through it even though there was still more unnecessary showing and pushing. With the girl still having a tight grip on his jacket, Cobalt just followed along. He didn't really want to became ash anyways. But as he began to get a bit suspicious as to where they were going Cobalt just had to ask:

"Where are we going?"

This girl was pretty much a suspicious figure anyways. Who was she and more importantly, what was she. It was probably wise to get away then to let this girl drag him to someplace. Who knows where she was leading him.

Toxin growled and glared to him. She really didn't have to explain herself to him. She didn't even want to do that. She just wanted to make sure he wouldn't talk about her. She sighed heavily knowing though that she could at least tell him that much. Her ears were flat against her head as she lead them through turns and spirals of stairs and alleys. The middle class could be seen coming up as well as the magical Moonlit forest.

"Moonlit forest. My home."

She then tugged on him harder, hopefully getting through to him to shut up and be silent. She wasn't much of a talker. That was that. Not to mention she was in a bad mood for that whole scenario. She felt so stupid. Usually she was smarter than that. So before he could ask 'why' or 'where' again she jumped off the edge of the alley that lead them into Moonlit forest. A short cut that she liked to call it.
